He walked around my house and showed me how to inspect hail damages on the gutters and windows. Vidal did a rebuild of my bathtub side tile and ceiling. They are very transparent with their cost estimates and letting you know the process upfront. They are reasonably priced, flexible to accommodate personal preferences, and my project manager was very professional by ensuring he did his due diligence and followed up on before and after the work. Additionally, they provide a good warranty for the work. I started with another company which were not transparent at all and I had to terminate that and ended up with Vidal. I highly recommend them.

Joey Vidal is "tops." He has been professional and responsive throughout my hail claim and has been a fantastic go-between between me and my insurance carrier, USAA. After the claims adjuster sent the initial paperwork on the claim, Joey noticed he had not included the removal of the solar panels. This was even after the adjuster and I had discussed this and that the panels were owned by me and not leased. Joey made the contact needed to get the addition of the panels to the claim. A few years ago, Joey had replaced my neighbor’s roof. He informed me that the roof replacement was going to occur the following day, what to expect, and emphasized that if there were any accidental damages to my home they would repair it. He offered to do a courtesy inspection of my roof to determine if my home had hail damage as well. Unfortunately, I was denied coverage by my insurance company that year.
As a result of the hail storms in 2023, my insurance company approved a roof replacement due to hail. Joey was extremely informative about the steps I needed to take and met with the insurance adjuster to ensure all additional damages were not missed. Vidal Construction handled our leaking roof after recent heavy rains. The team was quick to respond, communicated every step of the way, and were honest and upfront about their pricing. They did a quality check days after the initial repair and discovered a secondary leak. There was no price gouging or trying to take advantage of the additional work. Aside from materials, the additional work was included with the original quoted price. They were also considerate and respectful of the property, leaving no trash, debris, or materials on site. I am so thankful for Joey Vidal of Vidal Construction, not only did he alert me that my garage was open yesterday, (he lives in my neighborhood), but he also let me know that I had a couple of missing shingles on my roof. When I spoke with him yesterday, he said he would do a complimentary inspection of my roof!! I love how he takes pictures and videos while on the roof to document any damage that he finds and sends it to you for your records. When I spoke with him later in the evening, he was very honest and helpful in explaining the process. He told me that my roof was still in good condition and only needed to replace the missing shingles. As I am not in a financial position to replace my roof right now, I was so grateful for his honesty and integrity to not say I needed anything more! He told me he would send a couple of his crew members over today to replace the shingles and they did just that. I also appreciate that he sent updated photos with the new shingles and when I asked how much I owed him, he replied that it was on him and just to “pay it forward!” I have had many people do projects and services on my home and none have ever been this positive!! Vidal Construction was hired by us to replace our roof after we received extensive damage from Hurricane Ike. Our main concern at that time was to simply have the roof replaced to prevent further leaks that could cause problems to our equipment for manufacturing food products, but most importantly possibly adulterating or contaminating our process.
Once we began to coordinate the project, Mr. Vidal advised us that he was well aware that they would have to work around our production schedules, to allow us to fulfill our orders to our customers. In saying that, I was pleased and impressed that they were willing to be here overnight to work on the roof. The next benefit we inherited by hiring Vidal Construction was that not only did they have experience in commercial roofing, but restoration as well. That to me was the icing on the cake because Vidal Construction automatically became a “one stop shop” fulfilling our needs. Mr. Vidal shared with us his experience in dealing with insurance companies and the best thing about it all it was all legal and ethical.

After meeting with several roofing companies, we called USAA Insurance. USAA recommended Vidal Construction for our roof replacement. Joey Vidal came out to our home and was polite and very professional. He started by getting to know us, our expectations, and our concerns.
Joey asked questions that were spot on (he was listening to us); he explained the process from start to finish. He went over materials and recommended color selections for a perfect match. His thoroughness covered all our remaining questions and concerns. We felt confident in moving forward with the work.
During the job, I noted a couple of concerns and Joey immediately addressed them. Edwin Vidal also stopped by during the job, walked the roof, and pointed out a few things to the crew. Joey performed the final inspection and made sure everything was properly sealed. They stand behind their work.
It has been over a year since our roof replacement. We contacted Joey about attic ventilation concerns, something we previously spoke about. As he assured us, he reviewed the attic/roof layout and added 2 additional vents. The roof looks great, and the attic appears to be venting well.
